Mentoring

We’ve all been there…

All of us at ACM have had to struggle through learning our first programming language. We have all stared at a blank screen as we started coding our first program (besides maybe hello world). We know learning to program is hard and we want to help our new students become great programmers. One way we do this is through our mentoring program.

We mentor primarily through our mentoring days. Mentoring days are scheduled at the request of teachers and they usually coincide with upcoming tests and projects. However, mentoring does not have to be limited to just class work. If you have a computing interest just ask us about it, because one of us likely shares that interest.

If you would like a mentoring day to be scheduled, just let your computer science teacher know. If you have an extracurricular interest send us one of the officers anĀ email.
